3G service To Be Launched In Bajaur District Of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

3G services are to be launched in the tribal district of Bajaur today. The service is being introduced on the instructions of the Prime Minister—Imran Khan who during his maiden speech in Bajaur on the 15th of March had made the commitment of providing the cellular services in the area.


The introduction of the 3G services would be fulfilling the longstanding demand of the tribal people who had asked the prime minister earlier to order the restoration of the cellular services.


In a video message, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa—Mahmood Khan made the announcement that the longstanding demand of the youth of the tribal area is to be fulfilled by Monday as work which was underway for the provision of 3G services had been completed.

He also gave his greetings to the people of the tribal areas on this historic development.


In his message, the chief minister said that the construction of the grid station would also be completed soon for assuring that the power supply is smoothly transmitted in the area.


Furthermore, work on the construction of a tunnel to link the area with the Expressway would also be introduced soon.


On the other hand, it is expected that this year summers would be as hot as were in the year 2015. The Met department has made the predictions that 2019 would experience the hottest summers since 2015.
