Pakistan–UAE Relations Return to Normal as Monthly Visa Issuance Reaches 30,000

Relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have reportedly returned to the pattern of normal engagement seen over the past decade, with the number of visas issued online to Pakistani nationals recovering to previous levels, according to diplomatic sources.

Senior diplomatic sources told the local newspaper that the UAE government is issuing approximately 30,000 visas to Pakistani citizens every month, while travel agents are also facilitating additional visa-related services beyond this figure.

The sources highlighted the constructive role played by Pakistan’s newly appointed ambassador to the UAE, General Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, in improving ties between the two brotherly countries.

The reported increase in visa issuance signals a return to more routine travel facilitation for Pakistani nationals seeking to visit the UAE. The development is significant for people travelling for tourism, family visits, business and other purposes.

Pakistan and the UAE share longstanding diplomatic, economic and people-to-people ties, supported by trade, investment and a large Pakistani community living and working in the Emirates.

The reported restoration of visa issuance to previous levels is expected to support these connections and facilitate continued exchanges between the two countries.

However, individual visa applications remain subject to UAE immigration requirements and approval procedures.
