Imran Abbas Steps Away from Television Acting, Focuses on Real Estate and Philanthropy

Renowned Pakistani actor and model Imran Abbas has revealed that he has stepped away from television dramas over the past two to three years, shifting his focus towards real estate development, architecture and philanthropic activities. During a recent phone-in appearance on a private television programme hosted by Mishi Khan, Abbas explained the reasons behind his absence from television screens, sharing details of his professional transition and personal priorities.

“I am not acting anymore. I left television dramas two to three years ago, and I am no longer working on television,” Abbas said during the conversation. The actor disclosed that he is now concentrating on real estate development in Islamabad. With a background in architecture, he said he had started construction projects in the federal capital and was dedicating his time to this new professional direction.

Abbas also revealed that he is developing a tower near Islamabad International Airport, which he expects could be completed in approximately two and a half years. Beyond his business ventures, the actor spoke about his growing involvement in charitable activities, describing philanthropy as a meaningful way to contribute to society and seek spiritual reward.

Explaining his motivation, Abbas said that both his parents had passed away and that he did not have children of his own. He expressed a desire to undertake work that benefits others and continues to hold value beyond his lifetime. His remarks offer a glimpse into a different chapter of his life, as he moves away from regular television appearances and devotes greater attention to business, construction and social welfare.

While Abbas has indicated that he is no longer pursuing television dramas, his comments primarily reflect his current professional priorities rather than an announcement of permanent retirement from the entire entertainment industry.
